re: cagw
@Sandra yeah, i'm really sorry about that 🙇🏻♀️
i have a weird outlook on life and the universe:
how small and insignificant we are on a cosmic scale, actually gives a positive, hopeful outlook on life. i just don't often know how to convey that properly.
and lately, it has gotten harder. :(
Super triggering CAGW stuff basically the complete abyss, gaze with caution

@meena If it’s true that the P-Tr extinction event was caused by volcanism then we are on track to mirror it. Some algae might survive IDK but like cats and dogs and sparrows and horses and fish, it’s looking grim for them. And those are all Chordata. Now even molluscs are dying faster than punk did on Jan 25, 1977.
Generally, “don’t worry it’s fine” type comments are more stressful and anxiety-inducing, for a variety reasons, than either “yeah, I know, it’s awful” type comments or “yeah but there’s hope because XYZ concrete piece of new good thing” type comments.
