Andrew Zyabin [coder aspect] is a user on glitch.social. You can follow them or interact with them if you have an account anywhere in the fediverse.
So when did we get this "Lists" section here and how do we use it? Not mentioned in the user guide yet:
@PresGas To create a new list, open Lists > select a name (you cannot change it) and click ➕.
This list can now be pinned to your tootdeck, which will then display as an additional column in the web UI.
@zyabin101 ...and then what do you add to these lists; what is the use case?
@PresGas Of course, an empty list is no list at all. So you need to add persons to it.
That can be done by clicking the Settings icon, then clicking 'Edit list'. For security reasons, only those who you follow can be added to your list.
@PresGas You can only view toots from persons you added here, you have to ping each one separately.
@zyabin101 ahh! So it is like a user-based mailing list?
