@vga_dreams I really loved Windows 98 themes. I remember that, when I received my first computer, who was running under Windows XP, I was really disappointed to not find something like that on it.

@Sylvhem also, it seems a bit of a shame that watercolor wasn't chosen over luna, it felt like a way better attempt to take notes from Apple's Aqua UI https://www.betaarchive.com/wiki/index.php?title=Windows:Whistler:2296.beta1.001024-1157

To be fair, I really liked Luna too.

@vga_dreams @Sylvhem I feel like Watercolor was really doing its own thing, taking notes from the "webby" design language that was creeping in with the Windows 98 and the Windows 2000/Me design changes, rather than anything related to Aqua.

Of course, it wasn't actually properly "designed" - it was merely a theme to stress-test uxtheme.dll. But it still looked far better than Luna to me...
