@amphetamine one thing i didn't even almost agree with was that you need to be fucked up on drugs to listen to that kind of music >_>

@amphetamine i recently learned how modern EDM developed, and yeah, there's some thick black / gay history, entwined with the AIDS crisis, crack crisis etc…
but in Europe, when we imported the beats (pretty late, back then) we did so entirely decoupled of their (hi)story
