and the author is very right in pointing out that the consequences will be felt for Britain regardless of brexit

to me personally, the us has been a hostile power since Clinton bombed my birth country

but then, i might be biased

@kensanata i would have rather eu had gotten its shit together and dealt with the Balkan on its own

maybe that would have taught it (how) to deal with Russia?

i just realised: Russia being a neighbour to the EU, and historically allied to Serbia made an intervention from the US diplomatically "easier" than from the EU

but that was 30 years ago

today nobody has any delusions about Russia being a partner.
the EU has a dependency on it for gas, and otherwise, it's a threat.
