@kibi A lot of the time they do this on purpose so the posts won't "go stale." The really determined can (sometimes) find out by playing Go Fish with the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. But I agree, you really shouldn't have to.
@kibi are they on a tumblr blog? if so you can find out when they were written by appending '/archive' to the tumblr's base url
