websites "improving" in ways that gradually decrease their content and resources because they are expected to look modern but don't have the staff to convert years and years of information over to a new system is *so* 2018

@kibi the company i work for changed its name like a year before i started. i am but simple intern, so mostly i automate old tools. somehow, most of the documentation is only on the old domain. 😑 the whole structure, as far as i know, is inaccessible now

@kibi Tim Berners-Lee said it best himself: URLs don't change, people change them. Unfortunately most WRS (CMS) platforms don't make it easy to keep URLs the same when switching between them. I remember Drupal being particularly obnoxious in this regard for some reason.
