Periodic reminder: the Pilot Metropolitan is an excellent pen, especially given its price. If you want to try fountain pens, this should absolutely be your first.
@surveyor It absolutely is. The cap posts for writing, the weight is medium, it's a good solid brass body.
@gcupc have you got the Mr version or the propietary one?
@surveyor I think it takes a Pilot cartridge, not a standard international one, but I'm not sure. I've been using the bladder-fill converter it comes with, so I haven't looked into it. I mean to buy a piston converter for it, but I haven't gotten around to it.
@gcupc I am thinking about to buy it. Is it comfortable for long periods writing sessions? I am looking for a student everyday cheap fountain pen
