#brutaldon on cool-retro-term.
@frickhaditcoming
No, it's an application called cool-retro-term. It goes to a tremendous amount of work to emulate an actual CRT along with everything that might be wrong with one.
@gcupc uggg no buster package :(
@frickhaditcoming
The build requirements aren't excessive, though. I was lucky there was a Fedora package, but I was also prepared to compile it.
@gcupc exquisite. 👌
@gcupc what type of device is this being displayed on?
@davidpgil
This is on a Thinkpad, running cool-retro-term fullscreen (in Wayland and GNOME 3).
@gcupc ur work is appreciated! Thanks! I was thinkinking I would install FreeDOS on my old Thinkpad T21 and get brutaldon working... I think this should work... If not then I'll just run a GNU/Linux headless on that laptop :D
@davidpgil
There is probably not a DOS browser that will work with the hosted #brutaldon instance, because it requires TLS. And you probably also can't locally host it on DOS. But Linux console works fine.
@gcupc lynx was ported to DOS no? http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm
@davidpgil
If the lynx port has been updated with a sufficiently new OpenSSL, then it should work. But my assumption is that it hasn't.
@gcupc im famous, also is that a real monochrome crt or just made to look that way?
