@gcupc Reliability seems to be a general issue with XMPP servers?
I have actually been thinking about switching to Prosody, because I have constant reliability issues with ejabberd. Guess it's not that easy.

I hope it does. Please send some toots if you know more. I'm planning to setup my own prosody server. I already have a proof of concept running on an very old asus eeepc notebook with parabola.

I'll mention it when I'very used it under the circumstances that were previously failing.

The main thing to know is that you need these modules: carbons, mam, smacks, cloud_notify, CSI, blocking, and http_upload. More than half of these are not distributed with prosody, but are all in one hg repository called prosody_modules.
