This would be #brutaldon in a modern browser (Firefox 60) with *absolutely no* css rather than the "emulate NCSA Mosaic" css I'm using in fullbrutalism mode. Arguably, this is more #brutalist.
Thoughts? My main issue with it is that all images, including avatars, appear at original size.
@gcupc Since one of the main utilities (and I’m far from utilitarian, but worth considering) of stripped down aesthetic is bandwidth footprint, perhaps mere links to the profile pics would be approvably popular. That is how I intend to use this, at least, in Lynx.
The Mosaic css is truly lovely, though. Such fun. What a blast. All of it. I’m an instant fangirl.
@Shufei
That sounds like something that would make a good preference setting. I'll add an issue for it.

Hello from the strapping back of my freshly installed Brutaldon!
This truly is a grand project. So far it's working swimmingly. I can see some css optimization for text vs. mixed browsers might be worth fine tuning. But it's amazing as it is.
And it gave me a chance to discover Django. So ThankYou^2!

Jolly good! Isn't it lovely? I dunno why they call it brutalism, because it should be called cute-ism.
You know, a #Brutaldon-friendly server would be an awesome thing to put on #Hamnet mesh. Perfect for emergency comm nets.

This is a picture of the public library in my hometown, which is a lovely example of #brutalism.

Haha, I am familiar with brutalism; really I was trying to be twee. ^^ I still say Brutaldon is more cute-alism. Kawaiism?
Brutalist libraries are fun. Or at least, the midcentury modern as you show. Do you chaps know what it's called when they used to put little rough pebbles in the concrete to make an interesting texture? Love that.
@gcupc Would this also be an example of brutalism? It's the Communication Arts Center at my alma mater.
