@gcupc there should be a hashtag of the day bot linked to a random word generator
so it can just be like "today's hashtag is #reservoir !" and then people can toot about reservoirs if they want

Disappearing hashtags is a great idea that I support 100%
(I.e., the option to hide all toots containing trending hashtags in home/public/federated timeline)
This is a way to use trend data against trendism, instead of using trend data to further empower trendist biases.
