Hey so is it just me or did the most recent Firefox update break a few important add-ons, chiefly NoScript and Ghostery? I don't think there is a compatible version yet, is there?
@kaye erm...wow they should have been replaced already.
@LottieVixen The NoScript people are apparently working on it ("definitely by the end of this week"). I hope the update's out soon, it's a very bad idea to browse the 2017 web without a script blocker.
@kaye ....i do (i only use ublock origin)
@kaye not using it*
@kaye fair enough....does mastodon even work without it oh wait...you can turn it off per site right?
@LottieVixen Exactly, NoScript lets you whitelist or blacklist specific domains. It's a lot more convenient than the global on/off switch.
@kaye ahhhhhh sweeet :D
@LottieVixen To be fair, uBlock is going to keep out a lot of the bad stuff by itself (like malvertisements.) I like having NoScript up because I kind of don't trust JavaScript as a matter of principle, these days.
