My trademark way of naming characters: pick a thematic to the point of cliché name but with absolutely nothing to do with the character at hand

Modern cyberpunk sucks because cyberpunk was absolutely right, not because your didn't spell it cybre

It was mentioned because I like the Sequelizers but like that's taking one movie, talking on why it was bad, having a laugh and rewriting it. Doing that to years and years of bad writing is just like... That's fixfics at that point

Someone mentioned a podcast where they "rewrite" the modern Simpsons to be more like the classic series and like, yeah modern Simpsons is measurably bad, and that concept might be fun for a bit but after like... One season of rewriting I see that being tiresome

Also most of these games forget that earthbound's musical gimmick is about the juxtaposition of calm folksy music against bizarre alien music, not just like "trip hop loop with a melody made up of burp sounds"

Really annoyed that "post modern" in games now is shorthand for "earthbound but one of the characters will do a swear!!!"
