@aprrrl and that got a lot of people upset because as it turns out, witches.town has a lot of nonbinary and queer people on it.

so they're leaving, and alda then said that she's not going to renew the server lease and is going to shut down witches.town at the end of the month.

i am probably missing some subtext and non-public stuff behind this. this is what i do know.
